MEDIA STATEMENT
REMONDIS is cooperating with investigators following a fatality involving one of its waste collection trucks at Yatala, a suburb of Brisbane, late this morning.
The accident involved a contractor called to tend to a fault with the truck.
REMONDIS is working with authorities to ensure the circumstances of the tragedy are understood.
The incident has left many employees and contractors deeply upset. Counselling and bereavement assistance is being arranged.
REMONDIS‘ sincerest thoughts and condolences are with everyone affected.
