ANNOUNCEMENT
REMONDIS Aqua Australia has acquired ClearWaste, a specialised wastewater management operation based in Brisbane, effective 1 February 2025.
This business is now known as REMONDIS Aqua ClearWaste, which reflects and respects the excellent reputation of the ClearWaste brand, team and services.
The acquisition is a strategic investment in oily water and pollution control systems which enables REMONDIS Aqua's ambitious plans for Australia, guided locally by General Manager Nick Chang.
REMONDIS Aqua ClearWaste specialises in pollution control systems, oily water separator supply and servicing, oily water pump out and disposal, stormwater diversion systems and liquid trade waste management. The business has a focus on the automotive industry, service stations, workshops, mining, transport and government service sectors.
Adam Walsh, who has led the ClearWaste business since 2020, remains with the business together with his entire team – and all have been warmly welcomed into the REMONDIS team.
Adam’s team are currently based in Meadowbrook, on Brisbane’s southside, primarily servicing Brisbane and South East Queensland. With an established portfolio of customers including 7 Eleven, Lexus, Sixt and Village Roadshow, this strategic acquisition provides the Aqua business with a strong foundation for growth in Queensland, and beyond.
