REMONDIS Port Macquarie produces compost from food and garden organics collected from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council region, along with untreated timber and treated biosolids. Using climate controlled conditions, we can ensure a safe, consistent, weed-free product which complies with Australian Standards.
Compost is a nutrient-rich soil amendment that is also high in organic matter. Adding this material to Australian soils can achieve a number of benefits including increased soil nutrition, structure, water absorption and retention, and microbial activity.
